I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but Missouri rap concerts are not, as a rule, a very good place to be.
The Daily Mail reports on a "hardworking grandfather" who "suffered a broken nose and damage to his eyes after he was brutally assaulted by a 14-year-old boy at a rap concert in Kansas City":
Thomas Schlange, 66, was attacked while working inside the T-Mobile Center in the Missouri city on Sunday night at a NBA YoungBoy concert after asking the violent teenager to move to the correct seat.
The bloodthirsty boy - who has not been named or charged over the attack - hurled Schlange to the floor and bludgeoned him with his fists.
[Warning: Violence]
The kid brutalized a grandpa and then went back for more.
It's unsurprising that this fellow ended up looking like he did.
A GoFundMe for Schlange has raised over $11,000 as of Thursday morning.
Local police, meanwhile, "determined an assault had occurred" (nice work, detectives!) and "a male juvenile suspect was detained."
"Both victims received treatment at an area hospital and sustain[ed] non life-threatening injuries," the police said. "The investigation is ongoing."
Police are reportedly working to possibly charge the teenager as well; in the meantime, according to local news, he was released from police custody.
The singer at the concert, meanwhile, has "his own lengthy rap sheet involving drug, weapon and even attempted murder charges."
Can't imagine where young punks get the idea that it's okay to act like this.
