Massachusetts has added almost 700,000 food stamp recipients in a year, equal to 10% of the population

Well, would you look at that! The uber liberal state of Massachusetts, over the past 14 months, has added a whopping 672,483 EBT cards to its welfare rolls.

Let's pour one out for Massachusetts, since it's spiraling the drain.

Nothing says, "Best economy ever" quite like 672,483 new food stamp cards in Massachusetts.

Bidenomics is working, folks!

A staggering 672,483 new EBT cards have been added to the welfare rolls in a little over a yearVa tally that's intensifying calls for an audit of the welfare agency.

The startling 34.6% jump is being reported from July of 2023 to last month by the state Department of Transitional Assistance.

If those numbers are correct, that would mean 10% of the state's population got on food stamps over the past 14 months.

State Senator Ryan Fattman is calling for an audit of the welfare program, as he assumes this increase might have something to do with the state spending $3.1 billion to partially fund the migrant crisis back in December 2023.

Don't worry though, the Boston Herald "has learned" that migrants do not qualify for EBT programs, so we can rule that out.

From the Massachusetts GOP:

Think about this though. You think 10% of the population has magically wound up on food stamps? Is that even possible? Not likely, even in the "best economy ever."

So what is going on? Are they giving handouts to illegal immigrants even though the Boston Herald "learned" that this is not possible? Could be.
Is there massive fraud going on in Massachusetts's welfare program? That's where my bets are laying.

In time we will find out. But first we need an audit.
