Just last year, Michelle took $750,000 for a 1-hour speech, the equivalent of 10+ years of work for the average American household.
Unlike the Left, I don't care how much money Michelle has. She is free to own three multi-million-dollar mansions and pal around with the richest and most famous people on Planet Earth.
But Michelle is trying to take a splinter out of our eyes while there's a beam sticking out of hers. If having "too much" is a problem - and there are certainly biblical arguments for the dangers of wealth - then Michelle Obama should be among the first in line to give up all she owns.
After all,
[My parents] were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed.
She is vastly rich, but is lecturing others about taking more than they need to argue for equity. If you know anything about the Obamas' beliefs, you will recognize that she is saying that equality of opportunity is not "enough," but that equality of outcome, a Marxist idea, needs to be pushed.
It seems to me that the commies and the commie adjacents are the ones who are jealous of people who have even more than them, and thus want to tear them down. There have been many such cases over the past century.
Perhaps the 10th Commandment should be made great again, lest we stumble into Michelle's hypocrisy.
Do not covet your neighbor's house. Do not covet your neighbor's wife, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
