This video is absolutely brutal to watch.

Mitch McConnell is back in his home state of Kentucky and the people there seem to think the man that just had what looked like a seizure during a press conference is too old to serve.

The chants were so loud you couldn't even hear McConnell using a microphone. I have no clue what he was saying, but I could hear the people. They were chanting "RE-TI-RE!," turning a two-syllable word into three syllables, as good Southerners tend to do.

The good folk of South Carolina gave Sen. Lindsay Graham the same treatment recently:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell faced a less than welcoming reception at the Fancy Farm Picnic in Kentucky, with some attendees interrupting him and yelling 'retire' and 'ditch Mitch.'

Getting booed at a picnic. I tell you, this is what American politics is all about right here. I feel like I'm back in 1890 or something.

Seeing this, you'd think there's no way Mitch could get reelected.

But, hey, you never know.
