Last night's mayoral debate in New York City featured Andrew Cuomo, Zohran Mamdani, and Curtis Silwa, the three remaining major candidates. This moment between Mamdani and Cuomo sums up old versus new Democrats 👇
He had more than 10 years and he couldn't name a single mosque that he visited ... it took me to get you to even see Muslims as part of this city.
It's 2025 and the mayoral race in New York City is, apparently, about who loves Muslims the most?
Imagine time traveling to September 12, 2001 and telling New Yorkers that Italian-American Andrew Cuomo, known then for being Bill Clinton's HUD Secretary, would one day be competing with a communist Indian migrant about who loves Muslim mosques the most as a pivotal moment in a debate for next mayor of the Big Apple.
