Moms For Liberty (MFL) has been locked out of its account after posting a tweet on Monday that allegedly violated Twitter's "hateful content" policy.
"Gender dysphoria is a mental health disorder that is being normalized by predators across the USA," MFL's tweet said. "California kids are at extreme risk from predatory adults. Now they want to 'liberate' children all over the country. Does a double mastectomy on a preteen would like progress?"
The tweet included a link to another tweet by Florida Department of Health Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern criticizing a law proposed by California state Sen. Scott Wiener.
Twitter told MFL that the tweet "[promotes] violence against, [threatens], or [harasses] other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease."
"I think we have seen across the country that there is a coordinated effort to push transgender ideology on our kids. Moms For Liberty is calling it out, moms are calling it out. It is the truth that gender dysphoria is a mental disorder," MFL co-founder Tiffany Justice said. "We are being censored for saying the truth."
Here's more about the context of the tweet:
MFL is appealing Twitter's decision instead of deleting the tweet to regain access to the account, joining The Babylon Bee in refusing to bend the knee to Big Tech.
