The Second Amendment doesn't mean any gun for anyone any time.
Empathy is routinely used as a weapon to try to get Americans to disarm themselves. Godly men and women will recognize this tactic and understand the intent of those who push it.
Despite what Joe Biden & Company like to say, yes the Founders did want you to own weapons of war. A standing army and the inevitable arc of human nature toward tyranny were their biggest concerns.
How you feel about a law or a criminal act doesn't negate the words of the Constitution, but if lawmakers can get people to feel hard enough, they can override the Constitution with their own agendas, using issues like gun violence as a Trojan Horse.
