Well, South Carolina, you've got quite a candidate running for governor, don't you?
Yes, Nancy Mace is running for governor of South Carolina.
Mace is a very vocally MAGA Republican, and loves being associated with President Trump. But politically, well, she's a wildcard.
Mace voted with the Democrats under Biden to enshrine gay marriage as law. Mace also opposed Florida's "radical" abortion ban up to 6 weeks. You might remember as well that Mace joked about skipping sex with her fiancé to make the D.C. prayer breakfast.
In addition, she supported LGBTQ+ "pride" until about five minutes ago when a "trans" person was elected to Congress. Mace then used the trans issue to bolster her position in the party.
In recent months, she also showed her "nudes" to Congress, went on a pajama party road trip to DC, and has been, well...
Anyway, this isn't an op-ed, so I don't want to be too hard on Nancy. 😉
I'm sure her campaign will be anything but boring!
