'He's just a vile creature. The worst thing on the face of the Earth,' Pelosi said in a video clip posted on X.
The interview is expected to air in full on CNN's 'The Story Is with Elex Michaelson' at midnight E.T.
Pelosi went on to criticize the president even further, saying Trump 'does not honor the Constitution' and has 'turned the Supreme Court into a rogue court.' She added that he has 'abolished the House of Representatives,' referencing Trump's influence over House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), and has 'chilled the press' while in office.
Translation: "He's doing things I don't like, so he's worse than cancer, child trafficking, and genocide."
Reports circulated on Monday that Pelosi, who is 85 and has served in national politics since 1976 when she was elected to the Democratic National Committee, would not run for reelection in 2026.
She said that if she did run again, she would win.
'That isn't even a question,' she said. 'It isn't arrogant, it's competent. I know my district.'
"Nancy Pelosi" and "competent."
Anyway, nearly two months after one of Trump's closest allies was assassinated in front of his wife and kids, I'll let you decide if Democrats like Pelosi are "turning down the temperature."
