NBC News is out here telling us the looming Biden impeachment doesn't hold water compared to other impeachments because it "doesn't include any proven accusations" 🤡

Here's some free comedy for you courtesy of NBC News:

Chuck Todd is here to explain to us, ladies and gents, how impeachment has become watered down and is now simply a campaign tactic used to make one's political enemies look bad.

Yeah dude, not sure how that happened.

But somewhere along the way, impeachment became just another political campaign tactic, like getting out the vote, filing an ethics complaint or launching a TV ad. The lazy conventional wisdom on this phenomenon lies somewhere between the right wing — saying Democrats lowered the impeachment standard with their obsession with impeaching Donald Trump twice — and the left, arguing that what started this devolution of the impeachment process was Republicans' deciding to use it as a weapon against Bill Clinton.

Even worse, it's not the Trump impeachments that were unjust, it was the one aimed at taking out Bill Clinton.

In Clinton's case, we can debate whether Congress should hold the presidency to a specific moral and ethical standard beyond just financial. I think, in hindsight, the country decided that while it didn't approve of Clinton's personal behavior toward women, it wasn't enough to prompt the equivalent of the political death penalty … but compared to the two other impeachments that followed, the Clinton impeachment certainly looks like small ball …

And then there are the two Trump impeachments, both of which were launched over noble concerns. The first impeachment was about fears the president was using American taxpayer dollars to coerce a foreign country (Ukraine) into creating the illusion of wrongdoing by Joe Biden by opening an investigation into Biden and/or his son.

The second impeachment also clearly fell into the category of a political crime: "incitement of insurrection," according to one charge, for the purposes of trying to stay in office, despite the results of the election.

"The two Trump impeachments, both of which were launched over noble concerns."

As you can see, this is already comedy gold.

Now to Biden's impeachment, which hasn't even begun, by the way.

This brings me to the coming Biden impeachment. The actual facts don't come anywhere near any of the three other modern presidential impeachments. The accusations against Biden haven't been confirmed or proved by anyone …

Now House Republicans appear to be moving toward impeaching Biden for what he could have done — in this case, profiting off his brother's and son's efforts to profit off their association with him.

But House Republicans have failed to unearth any proof that Joe Biden profited from, let alone directed, what his son Hunter or his brother James were doing in their business dealings with foreign clients.

Really?

"10% for the big guy" doesn't jump off the page at ya, Chuck?

No?!

Here is a list, courtesy of House Speaker Mike Johnson, of the accusations against President Biden:

These accusations refute the president's repeated claims that he had no knowledge of his son's foreign business dealings and that his son had "not made money" from China.

One of those mighty fine links here for ya:

From the article:

Former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer testified July 31 to the House Oversight Committee that Joe Biden was put on speakerphone during nearly two dozen of his son's overseas work meetings.

Archer also said that Biden dined twice while vice president — in 2014 and 2015 — at DC's Cafe Milano with his son's Eastern European and Central Asian business partners — rather than just once in 2015 as previously documented through laptop records and witness sourcing.

Dinner guests included former Moscow first lady Yelena Baturina, who transferred $3.5 million to a Hunter Biden-associated entity in 2014, and Kenes Rakishev, who purchased the then-second son a $142,000 sports car. Another guest was Vadym Pozharsky, board adviser to Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, which paid Hunter up to $1 million per year beginning in 2014, when his father assumed control of US policy toward Ukraine.

Joe and Hunter Biden posed for a photo with his Kazakhstani guests, which a dinner attendee recalled to The Post was taken after the then-vice president's participation in the small group meal.

But no worries, Hunter Biden just said none of this is true, so I'm gonna trust him solely based on his merit.

I'm sure this next story doesn't cast any doubt on Hunter's words.

House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) released subpoenaed bank records revealing Hunter Biden's business entity, Owasco PC, made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden. Hunter Biden is currently under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using the Owasco PC corporate account for tax evasion and other serious crimes.

Following subpoenas to obtain Biden family associates' bank records, Chairman Comer issued subpoenas for Hunter and James Biden's personal and business bank records. The House Oversight Committee has identified over 20 shell companies and uncovered how the Bidens and their associates raked in over $24 million dollars between 2015 and 2019 by selling Joe Biden as "the brand." Financial records obtained show Hunter Biden's business account, Owasco PC, received payments from Chinese-state linked companies and other foreign nationals and companies.

Payments to Joe Biden from Hunter's Owasco PC corporate account are part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family's influence peddling schemes.

So as for Chuck Todd and his "accusations against Biden haven't been confirmed or proved by anyone" line, well, we'll see about that, Chuck.

Corporate news is always gonna look out for their own, so it's no surprise that Chuck Todd wrote up this op-ed just in time for this impeachment to get extra spicy.

Can't wait to see who the Dems choose to replace Biden!
