This newest poll from CNN is just the latest in bad news for Biden.

According to these numbers, Joe Biden would lose to almost ANY Republican capable of getting the nomination.

All the major Republican candidates are ahead of or tied with Biden, except the flavor of the week candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy who is the only candidate polling behind the failing President.

Here are my quick takeaways:

The poll also shows Nikki Haley as the strongest candidate against Biden, polling ahead of Biden and outside the margin of error.

She would clearly be a formidable opponent for the Democrats.

The real story here is that, despite conventional wisdom, it doesn't really appear to matter which Republican gets nominated, they all perform similarly nationally, given the split in the country between left and right.

And that Ramaswamy, possibly due to low name recognition, still could not beat Biden at his absolute weakest.
