'We know we have drones flying in a grid-like pattern. In my opinion, they're looking for something. What might they be looking for? Maybe that's radioactive material,' Melham said on Good Day New York.
According to a Nuclear Regulatory Commission alert, radioactive material went missing on Dec. 2.
'It was a shipment. It arrived at its destination. The container was damaged, and it was empty,' Melham said.
This report involved a shipment that arrived at Port Newark, where drones have been observed, and Melham said this information had come from the federal government.
How can drones be used to find radioactive material, you ask?
Well, it turns out that you can spot such material from a distance unless it is really well shielded.
Other reports said this shipment was merely material used to calibrate PET scanners and is not dangerous enough to pose any risk outside what you'd normally have in a standard medical imaging test.
But you wouldn't exactly slap a label that says "weapons-grade plutonium" on your shipment if you were trying to sneak it in somewhere, would you?
Melham wasn't sure that this missing radioactive material is the cause of the drone swarms, but said the main issue was that the lack of info from the feds was "fueling conspiracy theories online."
When asked about the details, Melham said it's "not little green men" or a "foreign adversary" (because they wouldn't have FAA compliant navigation lights on their drones).
These drones are huge. We had a mayor on the phone yesterday on the call with the White House telling them that he had six-foot drones hovering over his house, yet they continue to tell us we don't know what we're talking about, it's misidentification.
Certainly there's some misidentification probably going on, but I can assure you we are seeing drones in New Jersey all over the place.
Melham is sick of the lies and gaslighting (par for the course for the Biden admin).
We've gotten very little information. Even on the call yesterday with the White House, mayors were told, 'You guys are seeing things. There's no credibility to this.'
The mayor said there is a "top secret briefing" happening in Congress on Tuesday.
If there really is some missing radioactive material out there and the White House is hiding the situation from the American people, I hope at least that there's some renegade cop who's on the case!
