Truck Driver Who Spent A Total Of $153 On His Campaign Nearly Defeats Democrat Senate President In New Jersey

You know it's a bad night for Democrats when the longest-serving legislative leader in New Jersey history nearly loses his seat to a truck driver who spent a total of $153 (not $153,000 -- 153 dollars) on his campaign and has this as his advertising:

Yes, this is real:

This design looks like it was made for a high school presidential run circa 2003.

This man, Edward Durr, who put almost no effort, and put a laughably low amount of money into running for this seat nearly unseated the President of the New Jersey senate.

This is just absolutely amazing. How could this happen?

Last night, it looked as if Durr was about to win, but the race has tightened up and it looks like the Democrat may pull out the victory. But it was still amazingly close.

Democrats are going to need to do some serious soul searching after this embarrassing round of elections, or 2022 is going to be a complete and utter blowout.

Here's hoping Durr and all the regular blue-collar Americans around the country continue to make an impact.
