New poll says Trump and Biden are TIED ... Kennedy Jr. disproportionately hurts one of the candidates

USA Today has released their latest polling numbers and for many people, they confirm exactly what they've feared.

The latest poll shows Donald Trump and President Biden are TIED at 37% apiece, while independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is sitting in a distant third place with 13% of the vote.

But here's the rub: RFKJ is taking votes away from one side more than another.

Kennedy, scion of the nation's most revered Democratic family, won 13% of the vote in a hypothetical match-up, drawing voters who by 2-1 said they would otherwise support the probable Republican nominee.

2 out of every 3 Kennedy voters, according to this poll, would have voted for a Republican candidate instead if Kennedy wasn't running.

This means, first off, Joe Biden is SUPER unpopular and NO ONE wants to vote for him. But it also reveals that people who wouldn't vote for Biden also wouldn't vote for Trump if they had a third choice.

It's early and things change, but this Kennedy run, if it goes the distance, might spell disaster for the Republican nominee and aid Joe Biden in reelection.

But Joe has problems of his own to his left with people like independent candidate Cornel West, a progressive activist.

Without Kennedy in the mix, Trump would edge Biden 41%-39%, a lead within the survey's margin of error, with West at 7%. Without West in the mix, Biden would edge Trump by an even narrower margin, 38%-37%, with Kennedy at 14%.

With neither Kennedy nor West on the ballot, Biden and Trump would tie 41%-41%.

With historically unpopular candidates, third-party campaigners might be able to sway the election in one way or another.

We're in for a heck of an election season!
