"In DC, of all places, we should be encouraged to practice our rights …" - Rep. Lauren Boeber

"Hi I'm Lauren Beber. I'm a newly elected congresswoman from Colorado. … I am a woman and a mother … I have four children. I'm 5 foot zero, 100 lbs. I cannot really defend myself with a fist."

But wait did she just call herself a WOMAN?! A congressWOMAN?! A MOTHER?!

Doesn't she know she can't "carry" those names on Capitol Hill anymore?! Is she utterly lacking intersectional self-awareness?!

And did she really just imply that as a woman she is less capable of defending herself with her fists than a big, strong man?! How sexist! How misogynistic!

Someone needs to woke this woman (errr, sorry, person with a vagina) up.

Wait, did I just make an uninformed assumption? Help me! I can't keep this stuff straight!

But I digress.

I guess those are battles for another day. And I'm guessing they're ones she's not afraid to fight.

Though the D.C. Police Chief is already threatening her if she brings a gun. We'll see how that goes.
