A Nigerian politician took to Twitter this week to call for African countries to boycott the ongoing FIFA Women's World Cup because of Canada's transgender player.

First of all, raise your hand if you knew the FIFA Women's World Cup was happening???

I'll wait..

Well, apparently, it is happening... and Babatunde Gbadamosi, a former gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, called out the Canadian team for cheating.

In a match between Nigeria and Canada, the Canadian team included their first openly transgender player known as Quinn (yup, just Quinn, no last name ๐Ÿ™„), on their roster.

During the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Quinn made history as the first openly transgender and non-binary athlete to secure an Olympic gold medal in 2021.

Quinn came out as trans and non-binary in 2020, BUT unlike most trans athlete stories, Quinn is actually a female. She is a woman who identifies as non-binary... but also as trans.

Apparently, Gbadamosi is also confused, because he referred to her as a "man."

British commentator Piers Morgan pointed out the lack of logic in the gender cult by noting that being "non-binary" and "transgender" at the same time makes no sense.

"How can you be transgender and non-binary?" he said on Sky News Australia. "You both know this is such crap."

She's a biological woman playing against other biological women. If she doesn't identify as a woman, why is she playing in the FIFA Women's World Cup?

They don't qualify for the Women's World Cup because they used to be a woman. Now they don't want to be a woman so now we have to call them they for being a transgender even though they are non-binary and they're playing in the Women's World Cup and we're all supposed to go, โ€˜Well done Quinn. What a moment'.

This is just too much...

"Affirm my gender identity," they scream.

Why won't Quinn just go play with the boys if that's how she feels?
