Not sure anyone wants to find this child that went "missing" in Texas
· Jan 31, 2021 · NottheBee.com

The Texas alert system sent out an Amber alert for an abducted child on Friday morning, but the suspect listed is not the type of person you want to be messing with.

The terrifying alert listed Chucky from the Child's Play horror series as the primary suspect...coming in at 3'1" and weighing 16 lbs. He is listed as a 28-year-old with auburn hair, blue eyes, and wearing blue denim overalls. The suspect was also seen with a multi-colored, striped shirt and wielding a kitchen knife.

Unfortunately for Glen (the abducted child and son of Chucky), no one will be looking for him if Chucky is close by.

According to the KHOU News article, the alert, which was sent out three separate times to subscribers of the Texas Alerts System, appeared to be a mistake. Just appeared??

KENS 5 news reached out to Texas Department of Public Safety, the agency that manages the alert system, and received this response:

"This alert is a result of a test malfunction. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and are diligently working to ensure this does not happen again."

Could you imagine getting this alert?! Clearly it was a test that went wrong but cheers to the person that thought using Chucky and Glen for testing purposes was a good idea. Yikes.
