The deceased young man's family specifically asked for this video to be released after a doorbell camera across the street caught the skirmish on tape, though in a very blurry fashion.
I do believe the above video answered all of their questions.
The mother of Elijah Wilks said after watching the video, she believes the officer was justified.
It's unusual for MPD to release video this quickly, but some in the community had questions, and the family said they wanted people to see for themselves.
Sad to see this 26-year-old go out that way.
