"This is like Alex Jones!": Watch this viral video of ACTUAL journalism where a State Department spokesman is called out over claims involving Russia
· Feb 4, 2022 · NottheBee.com

The U.S. State Department says it has evidence that Russia is using "crisis actors" to make propaganda films that would justify an invasion of Ukraine, and on Thursday, spokesman Ned Price was trotted out to explain the allegations.

As is practice for 99.9% of the media these days, they should have nodded their heads in agreement with the regime and not offered any pushback.

One AP journalist, Matt Lee, seems to actually remember that the media's job is to critique and analyze anything those in power say.

Watch this crazy exchange that's nearly been lost in American politics. You'll see why it racked up 4.4 million views on Twitter alone in less than a day:

Here is what the U.S. government is claiming:

The US on Thursday said it had intelligence that Russia was considering using a "graphic" fake video involving corpses and actors to drum up support for an invasion of Ukraine.

"We believe that Russia would produce a very graphic propaganda video, which would include corpses and actors that would be depicting mourners and images of destroyed locations as well as military equipment at the hands of Ukraine or the West," the Pentagon spokesman Jon Kirby told reporters.

Now, do I believe Russia could actually be planning this?

Of course!

This kind of stuff happens all the time, especially in places like the Palestinian territories, where Hamas supporters take turns being the wailing parent or the corpse to show how evil the Israelis are.

Oh look, best buds!

Whether or not Russia would stoop to such a level (they would) is not the question. The question is what concrete proof the U.S. government has to such claims, and more importantly, how this supposed evidence will be used by the White House and Pentagon to push their own agenda.

You'd think that after the U.S. got involved in Iraq over the claim of "weapons of mass destruction," journalists would do a bit more due diligence... but this is a leftist administration, so who needs facts and accountability anyway??
