Oh snap! Trump just declared war on Mitch McConnell with a savage letter.

Now Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) made no bones about his negative opinion of Donald Trump during the impeachment trial, despite voting against conviction on principle.

McConnell also blasted Trump in a Monday Wall Street Journal piece, making it clear that he wants to purge MAGA hats from the GOP.

On Tuesday, Trump responded in his usual style, taking aim at McConnell as a "dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack" and vowing to back primary rivals to establishment Republicans who are down with the MAGA agenda.

"McConnell's dedication to business as usual, status quo policies, together with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, has rapidly driven him from Majority Leader to Minority Leader, and it will only get worse," said Trump. "The Democrats and Chuck Schumer play McConnell like a fiddle—they've never had it so good—and they want to keep it that way!"

Trump blamed McConnell for losing both Georgia Senate seats to the Democrats, slamming McConnell's insistence on $600 Covid checks when Democrats were promising $2,000, his decision to "put himself" into political ads when he is "one of the most unpopular politicIans," and his lack of ability to reach conservative voters who felt jilted by the Georgia GOP's handling of the November election.

The former president also referenced McConnell's business connections to China, saying he was "Beltway First," in reference to China's ambitious project to dominate world trade.

"He does nothing on this tremendous economic and military threat," said Trump.

China just ousted the U.S. as the primary trade partner with Europe as a result of the Beltway project.

A new poll showed this week that 53% of Republicans would vote for Trump if he ran again today, and that's literally THE WEEK AFTER HIS SECOND impeachment trial. No other candidate comes even close. Mike Pence has 12% support, while every other possible candidate is 6% or lower.

Whether you like this or not, what do you think will happen to Trump's approval if GOP members continue to capitulate to the Left's radical platform over the next four years?
