Ohio State's commencement speaker had a singalong and ranted about Bitcoin. It only gets more bizarre from there ๐Ÿ˜†

As a Michigan fan, this year just keeps getting better!

This was the actual commencement speaker for Ohio State (I promise this is not a joke):

THAT REALLY HAPPENED!

That's Chris Pan, an entrepreneur who graduated from Ohio State before working at Pepsi and Facebook.

In addition to having singalongs, he's also super bullish on crypto!

It gets better: He was on psychedelics when he wrote this speech.

From NBC 4 Columbus:

Days before the Sunday ceremony, OSU's chosen speaker Chris Pan announced on LinkedIn that he had taken the psychedelic drug ayahuasca to write his first drafts.

'Got some help from AI (Ayahuasca Intelligence) this week to write my commencement speech for 60,000 grads and family members at Ohio State University next Sunday,' Pan wrote. 'Tried ChatGPT but wasn't that good.'

THE Ohio State University actually invited this guy to headline their graduation.

You may be wondering why.

Why in the actual heck would OSU invite this dude, of all the candidates on the planet, to give a speech?

Well, as it turns out, OSU President Ted Carter sits on the board of a Bitcoin mining business.

Not a good look, Ted!!!

The graduation event was also overshadowed by an apparent suicide, which just added absolute tragedy to the circus:

Absolutely the worst commencement ever.
