PayPal Is Teaming Up With The Anti-Defamation League To "Fight Extremism" AKA Not Allow Right Wingers To Bank Using The Online Platform

Oh, I'm sure this won't have any negative consequences for your average citizen, it's just the extremely popular online banking system, PayPal, teaming up with a radical leftwing organization, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to identify "extremists" and prevent them from doing business online.

Monday morning, PayPal and ADL released a joint statement about their new partnership and the goals of the organizations. And if you understand just how radical the ADL is you would be very frightened at what they consider "extreme."

Here are a few examples of what the ADL labels as "hate symbols" or "hate groups." Presumably, this would bar these groups from using PayPal, and apparently they are working hand-in-hand with law enforcement to prosecute this supposed "hate."

The number 23 is a hate symbol, guys. The ADL told us so. This news is really going to hit hard for Michael Jordan and his fans.

The ADL has gone as far as listing the OK hand sign as a "hate symbol" on their website.

Another supposedly violent hate symbol? Any "anti-antifa" symbol that is used. That's right, opposing the violent extremists known as Antifa makes you an extremist!

If you do a search for Antifa on the ADL website all you will see is the description of being anti-Antifa as hate, and articles debunking and defending Antifa and their tactics.

So, opposing Antifa is hate, but Antifa itself? Well, it's complicated.

What may be the most telling about where the ADL stands politically, the organization has publicly supported the removal of Donald Trump from social media.

If they support the removal of a sitting president from social media, what do you think they'd like to do to his supporters? Should ANYONE who supported Trump be allowed to use PayPal?

Back to the press release:

The initiative with PayPal will be led through ADL's Center on Extremism, a leading authority on extremism, terrorism and hate. PayPal and ADL will focus on further uncovering and disrupting the financial pipelines that support extremist and hate movements. In addition to extremist and anti-government organizations, the initiative will focus on actors and networks spreading and profiting from all forms of hate and bigotry against any community.

Translation: We will cut off people who disagree with us politically from being able to do financial transactions. Just because the ADL says they're a hate group.

The statement goes on to quote a Manhattan DA who supports this partnership:

"I applaud PayPal and the ADL for joining forces to combat hate and extremist movements who seek to utilize financial platforms to bankroll their criminal activities and profit from the spread of racism and bigotry," said Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr. "My office stands ready to assist financial institutions and businesses of all kinds in this urgent fight to stop hate and protect members of historically marginalized communities."

Not only will PayPal use its power as a private company to de-platform "hate", but it also looks like you will have Democrat-run law enforcement agencies willing to take their word and start to prosecute "hate" based on the word of a fringe organization.

Once the left controls banks and the transfer of money, it's a short road to a completely totalitarian state run by the left.

This is just one step closer.
