I'm not claiming anything here. I'm just saying it's weird that the Wisconsin Republican candidate for Senate was winning until the trajectory totally changed in a huge ballot dump that favored the Democrat.
So familiar!
Oh, this happened at the exact same time that Wisconsin was recounting 31,000 absentee votes in Milwaukee after officials "were made aware that doors covering on-off switches on some of the machines used to tally those votes had not been properly closed."
This was from our internal staff chat on Election Day.
There are a number of additional factors that make this as fishy as two-day-old gas station sushi:
Shylock says that this "16% swing to the Democrats" put the race "in the 91.7th percentile of vote updates that most favored the Democrats."
One or two of these factors being combined could have innocent explanations, but as Mr. Shylock goes into in-depth (go read the whole thing if you are a statistics person), the combo of all these factors is very suspicious.
And as with most of these "anomalies" in races across the country, it favored the Democrat candidate:
And as always, the saying "nothing good ever happens after midnight" is usually true.
There's also the issue of more people voting in Milwaukee than there are registered voters...
Maybe there's a good explanation for this. As such, I'm not claiming that there was anything illegal that happened in this scenario.
But wouldn't it be nice if Wisconsin had a professional class of college-trained investigators who knew how to objectively ferret out the truth by interviewing statisticians, election officials, and other inside sources? They might even be able to get their hands on additional data that would allow them to inform the public whether there is merit in the claim of election interference. That way, we wouldn't be suspicious of everything all the time.
Think anyone in the local media will actually look into it?
