Crazy stuff out of the Tarheel State:
A plane making a forced landing on Interstate 26 in North Carolina Thursday night caught fire and snarled traffic for hours.
According to the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, multiple people were taken to the hospital.
It doesn't sound at this time like anyone died, which is incredible, because the scene of the accident was, well, kind of insane:
There was "almost nothing left" of the plane after the incident:
Air officials said the plane "requested assistance after reporting problems" prior to the crash.
The incident also reportedly left a few thousand without power.
