Police in Etna, Maine, were called in to help what sounded like a woman screaming for help.
The tracked the screams down some train tracks to Shade Oak Farm.
But WABI reported that instead of a woman in distress, they found Little Screaming Simon, a one-year-old Nigerian Dwarf goat.
‘It's a pretty quiet neighborhood, it's quiet except for us!' Farmer Devon Hawes describes. ‘I don't know how to make a goat be quiet. He gets everything he needs. Food, love, all of the things. He's just got a lot to say!'
To be fair, he does kind of sound like a lady screaming for help.

It happens more than you'd think!
The Hawes posted about the event on Facebook to alleviate their neighbors' concerns.
Hawes commented,
‘There was a lot of laughing, and you know, a few people are like, "Oh my gosh, I'm glad it ended the way it did. It wasn't anything serious."'
Besides goats, the other sound known to mimic frantic screaming is Nickleback. 👇
