Politico (yes, Politico) says Dems are "in full-blown 'freakout' over Biden"
· May 28, 2024 · NottheBee.com

It's like the corporate media woke up a couple of days ago and collectively said, "Wait. JOE BIDEN is our guy? Seriously?"

And it looks like the Democratic Party is having that same awakening.

This. Is. Art.

A pervasive sense of fear has settled in at the highest levels of the Democratic Party over President Joe Biden's reelection prospects ...

... according to more than a dozen party leaders and operatives ... the gap between what Democrats will say on TV or in print, and what they'll text their friends, has only grown as worries have surged about Biden's prospects.

'You don't want to be that guy who is on the record saying we're doomed, or the campaign's bad or Biden's making mistakes. Nobody wants to be that guy,' said a Democratic operative in close touch with the White House and granted anonymity to speak freely.

Democrats are out there talking a big game, but in private they're scared to death. And this is with all of their "fortification" of the 2024 election. They're still freaked out because Biden is just that bad.

If anything has given me hope for Trump 2024, this is it.

Check out just how freaked out they are at the prospect of Trump 2024 from the same operative above.

This isn't, ‘Oh my G--, Mitt Romney might become president.' It's ‘Oh my G--, the democracy might end.'

"The democracy might end."

They truly are in panic mode.

That may be the best quote in the article, but MY favorite comes in the next paragraph.

This is the Politico author:

Despite everything, Trump is running ahead of Biden in most battleground states.

"Despite everything"???

"We've lit our hair on fire! We've tried to imprison him! We've slandered him for 9 years! But for some reason, people liked a good economy, high wages, fewer illegal immigrants, and no wars!"

They just can't figure it out.
