Are the polls fake?

That seems to be the question on everyone's mind as poll after poll after poll is showing Donald Trump as the favorite to win the 2024 election, including key swing states he lost in 2020.

The latest numbers come from CNN of all places.

The numbers show Trump leading in both Georgia and Michigan. In Georgia, a state Biden carried by a very narrow margin in 2020 ...

... voters say they prefer Trump over Biden by 5%.

In Michigan, which Trump won in 2016 but Biden carried in 2020, our polls now show Trump 10 points up.

CNN was also quick to point out that 10% in both states say they wouldn't support either candidate, meaning they might still be swayed one way or another or just not show up at all, which would be good for Trump.

Of people who are on the fence about voting, 26% in Georgia and 40% in Michigan would support Trump over Biden.

This means Trump will possibly benefit from a high turnout of new and irregular voters, at least in these two states.

The so-called "silent majority" who supported Trump in 2016 may come back out for him in 2024 if these polls are to be believed.

And that is a BIG "if"!
