Pope Francis Warns Earth Will Face A SECOND Great Flood Due To Climate Change ... And He Seems To Be Forgetting A Very Specific Promise From God In The Bible
· Mar 3, 2021 · NottheBee.com

No longer a sarcastic retort, it now seems to be a legitimate question: Is the Pope Catholic?

We now seem to be constantly inundated with stories of Pope Francis saying things that are, to put it kindly, out of step with traditional Catholicism. He has been especially outspoken on what he considers to be sin related to climate. The Pope has gone as far as to say that Covid-19 may be a punishment, from nature apart from God, for our "sins" against the climate.

Even knowing all this, I was not prepared to see this headline on my newsfeed today:

As reported in the Daily Mail:

Pope Francis has warned that mankind is facing a second great flood caused by climate change unless leaders act to fix corruption and injustice.

The 84-year-old said that, in the story of the great flood in the Bible, God used his wrath to punish injustice and 'clean up' the world.

He then added that humanity is facing another 'great deluge, perhaps due to a rise in temperature and the melting of glaciers.'

'[That is] what will happen now if we continue on the same path,' he said.

If we continue on this same path, with our global "climate sins" we will face another great deluge from the "rise in temperature and the melting of glaciers."

The Biblical illiteracy necessary to make this sort of statement might be expected from a Hollywood celebrity, or a woke political activist, but the Supreme Pontiff?

As a reminder to Pope Francis and anyone else who's confused about this, there will not be another flood to "clean up the world." Any child who's been to Sunday school could tell you this.

Let's take a look at something I'm not sure Francis has read recently, the Bible. Specifically, Genesis 9.

There's more to it, but the long and short is that God Himself has promised in the Bible that what Pope Francis is sounding the alarm about WILL NOT happen.

What the actual heck?
