Rand Paul stalls Swamp effort to send $40 billion more to Ukraine, says his "oath of office is to the U.S. Constitution, not to any foreign nation"

God bless this man.

The House passed the bill to spend $40 billion on bullets for Ukraine earlier this week, with only 57 Republicans objecting (curiously, these are the same people the leftist and RINO media keep telling me to hate).

The bill then went to the Senate, where Majority Leader Chuck "The Whirlwind" Schumer wanted to pass the bill with unanimous consent, AKA "shut up and do what I say."

Rand Paul decided to do what Rand Paul does best: Be the thorn in the side of Swamp Creatures everywhere.

My oath of office is to the U.S. Constitution...

What a radical dude! Imagine if all our elected representatives thought this way instead of pumping up the debt to start wars all over the globe?

Hey GOP: Take notes from this dude.

Cuz he gets it. This is what we care about. Yes, I care about the people of Ukraine. I do not care about their corrupt government or believe the United States people should be embroiled in an ethnic war involving nuclear Russia.

  • But even more so, I care about my countrymen who can't find formula. The shelves around here are nearly empty.
  • I care about my countrymen who are having to choose between food and gas due to inflation driven by government stupidity.
  • I care about my countrymen who are struggling with the flood of drugs and illegal immigrants over the border.

And I know that nearly none of that proposed money will actually help anyone other than the elites who want more and more war to line their own pockets, and I would prefer my tax dollars not be used as blood money.

After all...

  • It was out of "sympathy" for the Afghani people that we stayed in their nation for two decades before staging the worst withdrawal in world history and left their oppressors even better equipped than before.
  • It was out of "sympathy" for Iraqis that we moved in to free them from Saddam and his mysteriously invisible nukes, spiraling the nation in fractured chaos that still exists today.
  • It was out of "sympathy" for Libya that Obama got militarily involved there, turning the nation into a crumbling wasteland where slaves are sold in open-air markets today.

Newsflash: You can support Ukraine with your dollars without supporting your tax dollars going to buy billions of dollars' worth of missiles and bullets from Lockheed and Raytheon.

Note that Paul's request here is simply for debate and accountability: You know, to ensure that $40 BILLION is spent correctly as intended. But Schumer responded to that common-sense request with an emotional outburst about a "valiant people fighting against authoritarianism."

You can especially support Ukraine by not supporting corrupt politicians using war as a cover for their misdeeds!
