Alec Baldwin is walking free after the deadly 2021 shooting where he fired a prop gun on set that had been mistakenly loaded with real ammunition and shot two people, including Halyna Hutchins, the director of photography for the film.
That last point, which means investigators are still considering a misdemeanor charge, is important, but I'd be shocked if they actually stuck anything on the celebrity.
Needless to say, the internet had thoughts:
Whatever your thoughts are, I think the most disgusting thing might be that Baldwin is going to finish the movie, and that filming is set to resume so quickly after these charges were dropped. The whole thing reeks.
