Look at some of the awful things said in this group that Rashida Tlaib is a part of. She seems really friendly with the guy who started it!

Rep. Rashida Tlaib was recently censured by Congress for her antisemitism. Is she so obsessed with the "kill the Jews" folks that she's joining Facebook groups that glorify Hamas?

The Palestinian American Congress group, of which Tlaib is a member, has featured pro-Hamas posts in the wake of the deadly Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

On Oct. 12, one group member posted: "We don't want to throw you in the sea...we want you to ride it back from where you came." The message was accompanied by a picture of an elderly Israeli woman and a Hamas fighter holding her captive.

On Oct. 19, another group member wrote about the "achievements" of the "resistance in Northern occupied Palestine," including dozens of dead Israeli soldiers. The post included a picture of a Hamas fighter.

I know what you're going to say: "People post crazy things in groups I'm in. It doesn't mean I support them!"

True, and while Tlaib hasn't posted in the group apart from her initial run for Congress in 2018, she seems to be pretty buddy-buddy with the founder of the group, Maher Abdel-qader, who is a Holocaust-denying antisemite.

Here's a screengrab from the congresswoman's Instagram page:

Yeah, she seems to be pretty friendly with this dude (or at least more than happy to take his money).

On Monday, Abdel-qader posted a flier on his Facebook page, advertising a Chicago fundraiser for Tlaib and Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Summer Lee, two congresswomen who he says "whole heartedly (sic) support" their community and the "just cause of Palestine."

Here are some of the recent posts in this group. You may not know it if you're an average person who hasn't studied Islamic theology or rhetoric, but this is par for the course in these groups:

Links to donate to terrorism. Hmm.

Maybe the real question and story here is why this type of rhetoric is so normal in these pro-Palestinian/Muslim groups, and why Facebook, who banned people for disagreeing with the Covid jab, would allow it!
