Roberts allegedly lied on his tax forms about his citizenship so that he could illegally hold his job.
But those aren't the only forms he's accused of falsifying.
He's registered to vote as a Democrat in Maryland! Since 2012!

Michelle Obama's former Chief of Staff, Jackie Norris, who hired Roberts for the $300,000/year public education job is asking the people of Des Moines for "radical empathy" after the law finally caught up with Roberts.

After ICE arrested Ian Roberts, the superintendent for Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS) last week, school board chair Jackie Norris called for people to have 'radical empathy' as Roberts' case plays out.

Oh, Norris is also currently running for U.S. Senate, by the way.
The Democratic candidate for Iowa governor, Rob Sand, also put out a wishy washy statement, acknowledging that people are "scared and upset" about ... the illegal alien being deported.
I understand why people are worried, scared, and upset about the situation with Dr. lan Roberts. There are conversations to be had on how current policies are being enforced - the degree to which masked agents putting people in unmarked vehicles undermines trust in law enforcement and spreads fear...
I think hiring illegal aliens with illegal guns to be in charge of our kids' schools is a bit more worrying, but sure, let's focus on how scary the police are for ... arresting bad guys?
If Democrats can be this bold in refusing to condemn THIS guy, I don't see how things are going to change.
Thankfully, the state of Iowa has a pretty solid Republican government. For now.
