Report: Secret Service diversity office sends memo about all-expenses-paid LGBT retreat at Disney World

At this point, is anyone at all surprised that the Biden administration is bankrolling a big gay trip to one of the most LGBT-centric places in the world?

The Secret Service's Office of Equity Diversity and Inclusion today at 11:09 a.m. ET sent out an agency-wide request (see email below) for nominees to attend an all-expense paid trip to an LGBTQ+ 'Out and Equal' Workplace Summit at Disney World in Orlando Oct. 7-10.

Indeed it does! Here's the notice from the Secret Service:

The Secret Service's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Program is responsible for implementing internal and external strategies to maximize the potential of a diverse workforce. To further our diversity initiatives, the Secret Service annually participates in various minority training conferences which are sponsored by national organizations.

Here's the self-description of the "Out and Equal" summit:

We are a haven where individuals can discover and connect with others, feel safe within those spaces, and thrive. Our light is a source of hope, inspiration, and truth in a time that seems overwhelmingly bleak. ...

And through the Out & Equal Workplace Summit, we will harness, nurture, and grow that light. We will remind our collective community and the world of the brilliance and power we hold. We will remind them that we are an unstoppable, radiant force.

I mean it's not like the Secret Service has anything else to worry about ...
