Here's your good news story for the day.

An 11- or 12-year-old boy at the Wediko School in Windsor, New Hampshire, was rescued early Monday morning this week after being trapped between two boulders near his school after he slipped while climbing on the rocks.

'On Sunday evening, while under supervision, a student exploring a rocky area on campus slipped between two boulders when sticks and debris gave way beneath them,' the school, a residential treatment center for boys, said in a statement Monday.

The center specializes in helping boys who struggle with mental health issues.

'Despite multiple staff members' efforts to free the student, they were unsuccessful and promptly called local emergency rescue services,' the statement said. 'Emergency responders worked tirelessly through the night, successfully rescuing the student in the early morning.'

At 3:15 AM, 9 hours after he fell in, rescuers from five counties (including firefighters, state police, fish and game officers, and the Indiana Cave Rescue Group) were finally able to free the boy.

Hillsborough NH Fire Department and other agencies worked tirelessly to save the boy

The firefighters used ropes and lubricants to free the child and lift him from the crevasse.

Thank God he's okay!
