Richard Dawkins just got the ban hammer on Facebook and he thinks it's because he shared his opinion about the Olympics boxing controversy

Dawkins was just Zucked.

Late last night, the famed new atheist and biology expert shared that his account on Facebook was nuked with no reason given. However, the public intellectual thinks he knows the reason.

Again, as Dawkins notes, Facebook gave no official reason.

But because Dawkins thought that Facebook was a free speech platform he decided to post some uncomfortable basic biological facts about the Olympics women's boxing medalists.

I mean, Dawkins has some guts. He's currently living in a country that's arresting people for Facebook misinformation. So there are worse things than simply losing your Facebook account.

Users on X came to the defense of Dawkins after his free speech rights were unjustly taken away by the folks at Meta.

If Dawkins is confirmed right, and his post about the chromosomes of the "female" boxers in the Olympics cost him his voice on Facebook, this is an insane step in a bad direction even for Zuckerberg.
