Ronny D always knows exactly what to do to trigger the Left.
Borrowing from the most based US Senator, Ted Cruz, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has asked that the budget in Florida this year include an extra $8 million to bus illegal aliens out of Florida.
The destination is the strategic part of this plan, however.
"In yesterday's budget, I put in $8 million for us to be able to transport people here illegally out of the state of Florida," DeSantis said. "It's somewhat tongue in cheek, but it is true, if you sent them to Delaware or Martha's Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day."
Delaware, of course, is the home state of the current president, Joe Biden, while Martha's Vineyard is where former president Barack Obama currently resides.
I'm sure that these bastions of liberal tolerance will welcome the influx of illegal aliens with open arms.
DeSantis went on Laura Ingraham's program last night to talk about his plan, and he had some harsh words to say about what the Biden Administration has been doing.
"So, the border is obviously a disaster and some people say, ‘Well, that's a problem for Texas or Arizona.' Well, actually, the Biden administration puts people on planes and flies them into Florida in the wee hours of the morning. They've done over 70 flights in the last six months, dump people here. And we had—a few weeks ago—one of those people that Biden dumped, ended up committing a murder in northeast Florida. So, these are crimes that would not have happened but for Biden's recklessness. So, our view is, if they're going to be dumping, we want to be able to facilitate transfer to places like Delaware, and, so, we have $8 million in my new budget to be able to do that. We also look to these carriers that the federal government is contracting with, and we are going to pass legislation that says, ‘If you are facilitating Biden's policies, which is effectively a mass human smuggling operation, you are not going to be able to do business with the state of Florida or other local governments, and we are going to charge you restitution for each individual that you are bringing."
DeSantis pointed out the problem and came up with a few clear solutions.
The federal government smuggles illegal aliens and drops them off in red states like Florida. So to combat this, Ronny D wants to be able to remove them from Florida to more blue areas.
DeSantis is also coming after the contractors who are doing the Biden Admin's work and telling them they can't do business with the state of Florida if they continue to participate in this "mass human smuggling operation."
