I mean, obviously, nobody wants to move to Russia right now. It's a frightful country run by a strongman pushing the world toward a potentially catastrophic World War III. Obviously none of us is going to move there.
But if we did... I mean... obviously this would be one of the upsides, right?
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been banned from entering Russia, according to a press release on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website.
The announcement came shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Canada's House of Commons, during which he repeated his call for a NATO-led no-fly zone over Ukraine.
A total of 313 Canadians have been barred from the country, as Canada continues to slap sanctions on Russian officials and entities.
This comes shortly after the Russian censorship bureau has blocked access nationwide to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Here we have a live shot of Russia in the wake of its ban on Trudeau imports and its social media bans:
Look, Trudeau was probably not gonna go to Russia for quite some time, if he's ever even been at all. So this sort of thing is largely symbolic, really.
Still, I mean... it's also probably the case that a burglar isn't going to break into your home on any given night, right?
But it's still prudent to lock your door just in case, right?
Russia is bad news but even a bad news outlet gets the headline right every now and then!
