Scientists prove once again that the bottom of the ocean is a terrifying land of dark nightmares

You'd think the first time man went down to the briniest depths of the deepest oceans and saw the horrific creatures that live there, he'd be like, "Yeah nope, never going back again, for-ev-er."

And yet he still keeps going back.

MORE THAN THREE MILES UNDER THE SEA.

Australian researchers searched deeper than scuba divers and submarines could go. Cameras explored the frigid sea bottom, under enormous pressure, down to 3.6 miles under the surface.

And look what they found…

"There are wonderful things that live in the Twilight Zone with bioluminescence, lights and big fangs," Dianne Bray, Senior Collections Manager at the Museums Victoria Research Institute in Australia, told FOX Weather. "The deep sea is our least known environment, and we captured just a tiny amount."

Oh, these are "wonderful" things? You be the judge of that:

☝️That looks like a savage, mutated, sentient hot dog from a Paul Verhoeven movie. It's not "wonderful."

☝️Imagine looking like this thing. Now imagine the incandescent rage you'd feel at anything lucky enough to not look like you. That's how this thing feels about you.

☝️This thing looks like the evil brains of the outfit. It's his job to figure out how to hijack your sub and pilot it to the surface to begin the world conquest.

☝️Okay admittedly this little guy is pretty cute. He can probably still kill you with some dreadfully painful slow-acting poison. But lookit those big eyes and that tiny little mouth!

Anyway yeah I'm never going in the water again.
