Hegseth set to review military grooming standards that were "loosened" under Biden (that's one way to put it!)

The U.S. Armed Forces may be on the verge of being whipped back into better shape — literally, as on Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered a review of physical fitness, body composition, and grooming standards.

According to The New York Post, the Pentagon-wide review is intended to reverse the moves initiated by the Biden administration to loosen various standards for active duty service members and new recruits:

Under the Biden administration, the Army relaxed various grooming standards - including allowing women to wear earrings and have hair highlights and dyes, and allowing men to wear nail polish - in an effort to be 'more diverse' and 'inclusive.'

The Air Force, also during former President Joe Biden's tenure, permitted new male recruits to have up to 26% body fat, up from the previous requirement of 20%, while females were allowed 36% body fat, up from the previous max of 28%.

Do you hear that, fellas? No more nail polish. And get a decent haircut, while you're at it.

The only question left is …

… how might changes to military grooming standards affect the furries?
