If there's one thing to watch from today's hearing, it's Markwayne Mullin calling out the hypocrisy of his fellow senators using grace and truth πŸ”₯

Someone knows his Bible verses about hypocrisy.

Attacks like these are par for the course in confirmation hearings. Republicans have spent 4 years putting on a show for Biden's numerous nominees, after all.

But there's a difference between trying to be forceful for the cameras and engaging in rank hypocrisy.

Mullins cut through the circus act. It's good to have a discussion about Hegseth's character, including his multiple marriages and affairs. It's good to test if the faith and heart change he professes is real.

But many of the people doing the finger pointing today are Swamp creatures who do the exact same things. They aren't qualified in the least to be pointing fingers about this stuff!

Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The scribes and the Pharisees are seated in the chair of Moses. Therefore do whatever they tell you, and observe it. But don't do what they do, because they don't practice what they teach. They tie up heavy loads that are hard to carry and put them on people's shoulders, but they themselves aren't willing to lift a finger to move them. They do everything to be seen by others: They enlarge their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels. They love the place of honor at banquets, the front seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called β€˜Rabbi' by people.

Sounds like more than a few people on Capitol Hill, doesn't it??
