Seriously: *ANOTHER* Democratic Squad member was calling for an end to rent while collecting thousands of dollars in rent!

The Squad is now two for six: On the heels of this week's revelation that Rep. Ayanna Pressley was pulling down thousands of dollars in rent payments while demanding that rent be abolished, we now learn that Rep. Rashida Tlaib was doing literally the exact same thing:

Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib's annual financial disclosure shows that she made thousands of dollars in rental income last year, despite being a co-sponsor of a bill to cancel rent during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tlaib joined fellow "Squad" Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and other progressives in April 2020 to co-sponsor Rep. Ilhan Omar's, D-Minn., bill to "institute a nationwide cancellation of rents and home mortgage payments through the duration of the coronavirus pandemic."

As with Pressley, it seems like it would have been monumentally easy for Tlaib to just, you know, stop making her tenets pay rent. It wouldn't be a "nationwide" cancellation, sure, but she didn't have to wait for one. She could have just done it!

Next up: Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar has continued to call for the cancellation of rent, so doubtlessly we're on the verge of learning that she owns an entire block of Minneapolis row houses and has been pulling down $30,000 per month off of them. Just wait!
