Our 46th president gets a lot of flak for often talking in complete and utter gibberish, though in fairness to him it's worth pointing out that he often does speak in complete and utter gibberish.
Take a recent speech he gave in New York City regarding extreme weather and climate change. At one point he lapsed into a tangent that seemed to have been pulsed several times in a cafeteria-grade food processor.
Huh? What does that mean exactly?
The polite thing to do is to say, "I understand what he was getting at." But do you? The overall shape of what he was getting at is kind of clear, sort of---but not really.
Someone needs to bring a Star Trek-style universal translator along whenever this man makes a speech. It would work better for everyone.
