WATCH: Sheriff’s deputy uses his best K-9 impersonation to trick suspects into coming out of the woods

A deputy from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department in Washington recently got to brush up on his impersonation skills and nab a pair of car thieves simultaneously.

Two juveniles reportedly stole a car, before quickly abandoning it and running into the woods to avoid being caught by authorities.

One of the deputies spotted them hiding out and called out to them, "Don't make us release our K-9!"

...Before barking wildly like an angry police dog.

Watch:

The deputy repeated the barking a few times before the juveniles got scared and turned themselves in.

Pierce County Sgt. Darren Moss said,

The best thing about this whole thing is that the kids actually believed there was a dog. And in the end, they told the deputies, ‘Man, as soon as I heard that dog, I gave up.'

So, awesome job and A+ for creativity in figuring out a way to get these to comply. Way to go.

I'm sure the guys back at the department got a good laugh out of it as well.
