So much for brotherly love? Jason Kelce refuses to wear red to support brother Travis

Feb 1, 2025

Sometimes blood isn't thicker than loyalty to your team. At least that's the conclusion longtime Philadelphia Eagle center Jason Kelce has come to as his former team prepares to face his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

According to Page Six, though the brothers are as close as can be (even co-hosting their own podcast together), Jason revealed that even in retirement he simply can't bring himself to put on Chiefs colors to support his brother.

Jason said this:

I can't wear red. I can't wear it. I can't bring myself to it.

While Jason maintained that he hopes Travis has a great game, he said he's still an Eagle through and through. However, according to Jason's wife, Kylie, his daughters will be showing their support for Uncle Travis in their own way.

Kylie — who is pregnant with her and Jason's fourth daughter — told her own podcast listeners this week that their brood — Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1 — will wear 'Go Uncle Trav' shirts to the big game.

'They love their uncle. And of course, they love cheering him on. He is our family, and I want to make sure that the girls feel included.'

The Chiefs (and Kelce) will be playing for a third straight Super Bowl title.

Imagine your own family members cheering for you less than the refs!
