You know how you have the Nashville scene that runs the CMT Awards where drag queens prance about on stage after a trans person shoots up a school?

Yeah, that's a thing now.

Anyway, then you have the normal stars like Kid Rock and Travis Tritt who think Bud Light promoting transgenderism is more than a little bit messed up.

Over the weekend, we had a couple more country stars join the fun.

First was Riley Green, a good old country boy from Alabama. He has a song where he talks about drinking cold Bud Light, but in an obvious spit-in-the-face to the Anheuse- Busch folks, Green changed the lyrics to Coors Light.

The crowd went wild:

Everyone in that stadium knew exactly why he swapped beers in the song. And they all loved him for it.

Then there was Brantley Gilbert. He took an even more... direct approach.

Someone tossed a can of Bud Light up to Gilbert, he held it up so the crowd could see it, then he said, "yeah f*** that!" and smashed the can on the ground before someone else in the crowd threw him a different beer can.

I don't know if Green and Gilbert can be considered real country music (I KNOW WHAT I SAID), but they ain't dancin' on stage with drag queens, and that's all it takes to make you an outlaw these days.

I can't believe I'm about to say this: In a world of Kelsea Ballerinis, be a Brantley Gilbert.
