You know you're rich when even your paperweight costs $17,000.

And that's about all the solid-gold Apple Watch is now.

The watch was released in 2015 and retailed for between $10,000 and $17,000. But the watches' WatchOS stopped being updated in 2018, and are now officially on Apple's obsolete list, meaning they won't be repairing or servicing them anymore.

When it breaks, you won't even get the satisfaction of having your watch be right twice a day.

But the watches aren't completely worthless.

There's still the "solid gold" part. That's probably still got some value.

And if Biden gets reelected in 2024, Bidenflation might pump that little bit of gold up to $17,000, so you can break even!
