Pretending bees are attacking you to get out of a DUI like Tommy Boy did is one thing.
But a Spanish dude (who I will refer to as King Bee for the remainder of this article for reasons that will soon become apparent) took that tactic one step further.
It all started when King Bee was stopped in Cervera, Spain, for driving without a seatbelt.
It could have just ended there, but when the King shouted, "I should have run you down!," the police figured he must be under the influence.
They went ahead and gave him a breathalyzer test, which he passed. The officers couldn't believe it, so they told him they wanted him to take another test.
That's when things got sticky.
King Bee lost it and shouted,
Now, I really am going to kill you!
He ran to the back of his vehicle and opened the door, releasing hives of honeybees to attack his enemies.
Police had to take refuge in a nearby restaurant and call for backup before they managed to arrest the guy.
But get this: Just like a real-life supervillain, only a few hours later, King Bee was apparently released, with all charges dropped.
How in the world did he pull that off?
