New modifications to the PC version of the Spider-Man Remastered video game allow players to change some features, like adding weapons and locations.

But one gamer apparently went TOO FAR. In the original Spider-Man game, there were no Pride flags, so the woke developers decided the remastered version should have rainbow LGBT flags alongside some of those problematic Stars & Stripes.

This gamer dared to replace the Pride flags and reinstate the American flag, so obviously, he (assuming his gender) is a danger to society and had to be banned. Even worse, his mod was really popular, and there's nothing worse than a woke development team realizing that 99% of humanity doesn't buy into this woke cult stuff.

Gaming sites Nexus Mods and ModDB banned the player, and Nexus Mods said the modification was "very clearly done deliberately to be a troll mod."

For those a bit outside of their element, as I am, "mods" or "modding" is the process of alteration by players or fans of one or more aspects of a video game, such as how it looks or behaves and is a sub-discipline of general modding. Mods may range from small changes and tweaks to complete overhauls and can extend the replay value and interest of the game.

Nexus Mods director Robin Scott came out and said the Spider-Man Remastered mod sparked "some silly drama" and told users who are mad about the ban to go ahead and "delete your account."

A bit harsh...

"In regards to the replacement of Pride flags in this game, or any game, our policy is thus: we are for inclusivity, we are for diversity," said Scott. "ModDB is an inclusive environment for all and we do not permit targeting marginalised groups," it wrote, adding the site had a "zero tolerance policy" for such content.

(But also delete your account if you love America because that is not tolerated)

So, I guess, calling something "stupid" is now some sort of hate crime?

What would have happened if someone called the American flag "stupid" and replaced it with a rainbow?
