Superwoke! JJ Abrams Has Brought On Super Woke Atlantic Author Ta-Nehisi Coates To Write New Superman Movie

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Superwoke!

Or Wokeman! Or white fragility man! Whatever it is, he's probably racist.

The entertainment outlet Deadline confirmed today that Warner Brothers is going to reboot the Superman franchise with producer JJ Abrams bringing on the ultra-woke author and commentator Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Because if there's anything we're missing from Hollywood it's self-righteous lefties lecturing Americans on how they are racists while we sit and try to enjoy a superhero movie with our families.

For those who don't know Coates, he was one of the earlier Critical Race Theory advocates who began to mainstream the narrative that the United States is a racist, bigoted country, rooted in white supremacy. His bestselling book and 2015 book of the year, Between the World and Me offers a beyond bleak view of America as a snippet from a review by Rod Dreher of the American Conservative will tell you:

[Between the World and Me] tells the reader that every bad thing that happens to black people in America is the fault of whites, that even when blacks victimize blacks, this has its roots in white racism. It tells the reader that whites cannot be redeemed, nor can the world itself, and the best thing any of us can do is to face life knowing that it's all a sham. If one is a white liberal reading this, one can derive both a masochistic thrill from the anti-white animus, but also feel comforted that the only thing [Ta-Nehisi Coates] really expects you to do is to share his despair, because nothing you or any of us do in the world matters at all.

Coates helped kickstart the "every bad thing that has ever happened to black people is because of white Americans" movement which we now see reflected in the works of the 1619 Project, Robin DiAngelo, and Ibram X. Kendi.

So, obviously, given those credentials, the next logical step is for him to write the next Superman movie.

I for one cannot wait for the author who believes that white supremacy is the foundation of America to write a movie about Superman who is supposed to stand for "truth, justice, and the American way." Because, according to Coates worldview, the "American way" is likely code for white supremacy and racism.

And, it has to be noted that Superman, an alien creature landed on earth and raised by humans, is also -gasp!- a white man! I mean, how much more racist could this comic book children's character be?

I can already guess the ending to the movie now. Which supervillain will Clark Kent need to fight? Well, obviously, it will be the villain inside himself the whole time. His inner battle with his white fragility and hyper-masculinity. In order to defeat the bad guy, he must first defeat the villain within himself.

Or maybe Lex Luthor. 🤷‍♂️

Cancerous identity politics are already infecting all parts of our cultures, but it looks like Superman may be the next to fall.
