Apparently, this guy Robert Maddox does this kind of crazy stuff all the time:

If there's something America needs right now, it's a crazy older gentleman with a selfie stick just motoring around town on a rocket. That's the kind of fearless ingenuity that makes this country great.

I also love how there were no frilly features like a camera mount so he could drive with two hands. Kids these days are too concerned about their phone mounts and airbags and whatnot. Not for this rebel!
